Recently, affected by the cold wave, China's East and central China generally fell to heavy snow, heating load increased rapidly, many power grids in winter electricity load reached a record high. As of January 4, the maximum dispatching load of Jiangsu Power Grid reached 87.09 million kilowatts, a record high in winter power load. At 18:55 on January 7, the maximum power consumption load of Hubei Power Grid reached 29.069 million kilowatt hours, and the daily power consumption of Hubei main network reached 575.3 million kwh, both of which set a record high in winter power load and daily power consumption for the sixth time this year, with the power load increasing by 15.28% compared with the historical maximum in winter. In the evening of January 8, the power load of Anhui power grid reached 31.3 million kilowatts, an increase of 2.3 million kilowatts compared with the original historical maximum load of 29 million kilowatts (2016). On January 8, the maximum power load of Shanghai power grid reached 25.63 million kilowatts, which also reached a record high in winter.
Before the arrival of this cold wave, the above power grid enterprises issued corresponding early warning of rain and snow freezing in advance, and made a comprehensive deployment. In order to cope with the severe test of heavy load caused by low temperature, rain and snow, power grid enterprises closely track the changes of power supply and demand situation, reasonably arrange the operation mode, actively strengthen the organization guarantee and inspection, and do a good job in emergency repair and effective regulation and control.
Hubei electric power of State Grid has taken various measures to cope with the balance of supply and demand, such as purchasing electricity through the spot market trading platform of the national dispatching center, completing two power purchase transactions, notifying local dispatching departments to add reserve units for non unified dispatching, and applying for central China sub center to open Qingjiang and Gezhouba units to support Hubei Province, which basically met the power demand of the winter evening peak in recent days. As of 14:00 on January 7, 21375 emergency repair personnel and 5118 vehicles were dispatched to ensure the stability of the power grid through the winter.
Before the cold wave, State Grid Shanghai electric power has thoroughly investigated the potential risks in key links, key parts, important places and hot spots in the whole city to ensure the healthy operation of power equipment, and carried out special inspection on 403 important customers such as Shanghai rail transit, airport and high-speed railway traction station. At present, there are more than 3000 on duty and emergency repair personnel, nearly 300 emergency repair and emergency teams. All kinds of emergency repair, emergency power generation, lighting and other vehicles are ready to ensure timely response to customers' electricity demand in freezing conditions.
In view of the forecast that the temperature will continue to be low in the next few days and the minimum temperature will still be below - 10 ℃, Anhui electric power of State Grid is actively striving for power support from outside the province and the region, reporting to the provincial economic and Information Commission, and urging power generation enterprises to ensure the power coal supply.
State Grid Jiangsu electric power actively responded to the snowfall, and organized professional personnel to carry out special inspection work in rainy and snowy weather at the first time. A total of 340 emergency repair teams, 3858 emergency repair personnel and 1745 emergency repair vehicles were arranged, including 2 DC ice melting vehicles.
Up to now, the overall operation of the above-mentioned power grids is stable and the power supply is normal and orderly.
